Adjika

Adjika - Abkhazian spicy seasoning, will give your New Year dishes an unusual taste. Aromatic seasoning - pasty mass of red pepper with salt, garlic, herbs.

Adjika usually is red, but the seasoning of green color can be made from unripe pepper.

You will need:

2.5 kg of tomatoes
1 kg of carrots
1 kg of sweet red pepper
100 g of bitter pepper
150-200 g of sugar
1/4 cup of salt
150 g of plant. oils
200 g of garlic
greens (parsley, dill)

How to cook:

1. Rub the carrots on a medium grater.

2. Wash the tomatoes, cut in half.

3. Peel the peppers from the seeds and cut into 4 parts, bitter pepper and garlic.

4. Sprinkle all the vegetables in the meat grinder.

5. Pour into a saucepan and simmer for 1.5 hours.

6. After 1.5 hours, add oil, sugar, salt and greens.

7. Cook for another 30 minutes.
