Tartlets

Tartlets - amazing pastries, with which you can apply stunning desserts and snacks! Confectioners Company Catering Dnepr offer you two recipes tartlets - for sweet fillings and cold appetizers.

Often special tin molds used for baking tartlets. Or molds made of elastic non-stick material. Tin cookie cutters should definitely pre-lubricated with cold butter or margarine. To tartlets dough does not rise in fomochkah, put on the bottom of a form bean, or a few grains of rice.

How to cook:

For sweet tartlets:

2 cups of flour
200g butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs

Cooking method:

Take the eggs and beat them in a bowl; add sugar. Put the butter and mix thoroughly. Then pour the flour and knead the dough.
Roll out the dough (7 mm.). Molds to cut the dough, take the form of baskets; oven for approximately 15 minutes (at 200 degrees); baskets ready to remove from the molds, turning them cool.

Savory pastry:

200 g butter or margarine
300 g flour
3 egg yolks
salt to taste

Mix all ingredients until smooth. Bake in the oven.

Shortbread dough:

200 g margarine or butter
2 cups of flour
4 egg yolks or 2 eggs
a pinch of salt

Knead the dough as dumplings and place in refrigerator 30 minutes.
To tartlets get the same thickness, it is best to roll out the dough 0.5 cm thick and cover with a layer of this on top of the molds (previously greased tins with oil and sprinkle with a little flour). Roll on top with a rolling pin, flatten the dough with your finger in the mold.
Put on top of a bean or a few grains of rice to the dough when baking not swell. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
